1:1 Teaching Assistant (ELSA / SEMH Experience Required)

Premier Education is recruiting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in the WA16 area
, supporting a Class 5 pupil on a full-time basis until July
.

Due to the intensity of the role, the school is open to splitting the week between two experienced TAs to ensure consistent, high-quality support.

• Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Location: WA16
• Year Group: Class 5
• Contract: Until July
• Working Pattern: 5 full days per week (can be split between two staff)

• TA 1:
  Monday - Wednesday (until lunchtime)
• TA 2:
  Wednesday afternoon - Friday

• ELSA qualification OR strong experience in social and emotional support (SEMH) - essential
• Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Calm, resilient, and emotionally intelligent approach
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships

This is a rewarding but demanding role, and the school is keen to appoint committed, experienced support staff who can provide consistent and structured support.
