Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Design Manager / Designer to join a busy, small office in Warrington. This is a hands-on role where you will manage your own workload, focusing on the design of roofing, cladding, and façade projects. This is not a people management role, so the emphasis is on technical design, problem solving, and delivering high-quality solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Design roofing, cladding, and façade systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

* Prepare drawings, details, and technical specifications using AutoCAD.

* Manage your own workload from initial concept through to design completion.

* Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure designs are buildable and compliant.

* Ensure all work meets relevant technical standards, building regulations, and project requirements.

* Contribute to a collaborative, hands-on office environment while supporting project delivery.

Candidate Profile

* 5+ years’ experience in roofing, cladding, or façade design.

* Strong AutoCAD skills, with experience producing technical drawings and details.

* Able to manage your own workload efficiently and prioritise tasks.

* Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and buildability.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality design.

* Self-motivated and able to work in a small, busy office environment.
