There are two posts available:
- 37 hours per week, fixed term contract to cover maternity
- 21 hours per week, fixed contract until 30 June 2026
Providing Customer Services via telephone, email and face‑to‑face at Contact Warrington for a range of Council services including Council Tax, Business Rates and Benefits and working with us to develop, expand and improve service delivery for our customers. Initially you will start on the telephony service where you will build your skills and experience before progressing to face‑to‑face customer service and potentially digital contacts.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- IT/keyboard skills
- Excellent customer service skills, with previous experience in a highly pressured customer services environment, would be an advantage.
- Being able to deal directly with members of the public, businesses and internal colleagues.
- The ability to provide a friendly, efficient service, at times under great pressure.
- A very high level of personal resilience is required as you will be expected to have, at times, difficult conversations with our most challenging and vulnerable residents. The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
