BGEN is one of the UK's largest multidisciplinary design and build contractors with over 100 years of industry experience. We support clients in the Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical, Nuclear and Food and Beverage industries to deliver next generation, value-added engineering solutions. For this particular role, we’re seeking an enthusiastic individual who is eager to begin and grow their career in procurement.

• Raise purchase orders in the ERP system, ensuring they follow the Preferred Supplier List and agreed service levels.
• Work with stakeholders to encourage PSL use and share feedback with PSL owners.
• Prepare, issue, receive, and evaluate quotations to deliver best value, translating requirements into proposals with approved templates.
• Receipt goods in the ERP system, respond to queries promptly, and manage supplier questionnaires from start to finish.
• Monitor orders, lead smaller negotiations, support larger ones, and spot opportunities to save costs and strengthen supplier relationships.

• Strong data analysis and problem solving abilities, with a practical approach to tackling challenges.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Clear communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently across teams.
• Proven relationship management skills, capable of building and maintaining positive stakeholder connections.
• Flexibility to work independently with initiative, while also thriving as a collaborative team member.
