Search is working with a well-established and highly reputable construction company who due to growth is looking for an experienced Supply Manager to join their team on a permanent basis

Duties & Responsibilities

* Manage the current supply chain, keeping it up to date, relevant and fit for purpose, expanding it where necessary to include new subcontractors and suppliers for specific projects or requirements.

* Build strong relationships with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

* Define, develop and manage a consistent supplier relationship management strategy

* Ensuring strategic procurement around sustainability

* Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times

* Improve end-to-end performance and delivery

* Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company

* Manage the current supply chain, keeping it up to date, relevant and fit for purpose, expanding it where necessary to include new subcontractors and suppliers for specific projects or requirements.

* Drive continuous improvement strategies.

* Strategically allocate suppliers and contractors to key projects.

* Utilise and cultivate internal relationships with all stakeholders.

* Review data and implement an improvement plan

* Define and maintain supplier performance

* Implement Key Performance Indicators
