Assistant Accountant Role Overview

NC Associates are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant on behalf of our client based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who will be joining an international organisation and will get excellent career development within the business. As the Assistant Accountant you will be reporting directly to the Financial Manager.

Assistant Accountant Responsibilities:

• Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts
• Production reporting including various variance analysis.
• Preparation and posting of journals – payroll, prepayments, accruals
• Product costing, stock reporting, and stock reconciliations
• Assisting with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements as needed.
• Month end reporting.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Assistant Accountant Experience Required:

• A professional accounting qualification or part-qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Exceptional focus on accuracy and detail in all aspects of financial work.
• Ability to manage relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Ambition and drive to grow with the business
• Exceptional communication skills
