Customer Service Associate – Walgreens

$15.00/hr – $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on the assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Apply Walgreens service traits, such as offering help proactively, identifying needs, and servicing until satisfaction.
• Recommend items for sale, including trade‑ups and companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed, and collect cash and distribute change accurately.
• Maintain counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, keep records, and follow store system procedures.
• Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss and ensure compliance with state and local laws for regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separating food items, product placement, and stock rotation, following first‑in, first‑out methods.
• Provide customer service in the photo area (digital passport, poster print, creative machine) and suggest promotional photo products.
• Assume web‑pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, and deliver orders to arriving customers.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat, orderly store appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and any other tasks assigned.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
