This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Operations Supervisor located in Warrenville, IL. The Technical Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day technical operations, manage and guide a team, and ensure efficient operational workflows. Responsible for maintaining and supporting Warrenville’s network infrastructure while leading the tooling department to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality tooling operations.
Additionally, this role is responsible for identifying and mitigating safety risks within the department and supporting IT-related functions, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with infrastructure projects, managing helpdesk activities, and supporting ITAR-controlled systems. The Supervisor responds to high-priority system issues and ensures operational continuity through timely problem resolution.
Qualifications- Responsible for overseeing daily operations and ensuring that team members perform their duties efficiently and in alignment with company goals. This includes monitoring team performance, providing guidance and support, and identifying areas for improvement to uphold high standards of productivity and quality. Team members are expected to maintain a minimum efficiency rate of 85%, and it is the Supervisor's responsibility to ensure this standard is consistently met.
- Supervisors are also responsible for enforcing company policies, coordinating workflow, resolving issues that impact team output, and reporting performance metrics to management. Strong leadership, effective communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

- Performs the calibration required for the following:
- Test Equipment

- Responsible for creating proper work instructions that allow operators to work on equipment for:
- Test Procedures and Work Instructions
- Cutting Procedures and Work Instructions
- Crimping Procedures and Work Instructions
- Responsible for identifying and implementing methods that allow operators to improve test times without compromising the test:
- Functionality
- Our test will work as a process feedback to assure a continuous process improvement.
- Slowly convert our processes from manual crimping to automatic
- Responsible for identifying and preventing any safety risks in the tooling and crimping department, and the operational department.
- Assists with PC troubleshooting/repair for both software and hardware:
- Configures new PC’s as needed
- Performs routine system security checks
- Assists with infrastructure projects & on-site help:
- Assists IT Manager with various projects and on-site help
- Assists with Helpdesk tickets/tracking at the Warrenville, IL plant:
- Keep accurate records of work that is being completed
- Performs recurring maintenance checks and asset management
- Assists with ITAR devices and services:
- Would be the backup contact person for ITAR services
- Would be the on-site IT admin in charge of ITAR devices/infrastructure
- Assists with configuring & testing policies for ITAR devices
- Performs emergency IT services as needed. The following items would be considered high-priority:
- Blue screen issues, network speed, downed servers, and security alerts all require immediate attention
- Identify and implement solutions for items requiring immediate attention
- Immediate action items will require time away from other duties until the systems/service is restored
- Additional duties as required and assigned.
