My client is a top notch Commercial HVAC Mechanical Contractor. They are actively looking for Senior Technicians who can get Security Clearance for Government and DOD clients. Currently seeking commercial certified AC technician who is highly motivated with a strong work ethic, has excellent problem solving skills, strong customer service skills and brings at least 7-15+ years of experience to join a stable, growing AC company in the Northern Virginia area.

Position

Qualifications:

Senior Technician Lead:
• Minimum of 10 years experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting a wide range of commercial and industrial AC service and installation issues;
• Enjoys mentoring and problem troubleshooting;
• Ability to generate and oversee estimating of new jobs;
• Demonstrated supervisory or management experience; and
• Master certified HVAC General Requirements:
• Excellent troubleshooting, well organized, able to meet schedules and deadlines, and able to work independently;
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals;
• Ability to communicate diagnosis, the needed repairs and appropriate options to the customer in a knowledgeable and courteous manner;
• 100% compliance with all standard company procedures and safety rules;
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire and willingness to exceed customer expectations;
• Enjoys interacting with people; and
• US citizen with excellent driving record and a valid drivers license. Technical Requirements:
• Detailed knowledge of commercial AC systems that incorporate digital control systems and are linked to a multi-building, computer based Energy Management and Control System (EMCS).
• Familiarity with 5-100 ton package units, split systems, computer room units.
• Diagnose a wide variety of service issues, (identify any replacement parts), repair, test and calibrate system to manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Travel to job sites in service area and work to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer and office.
