Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated and self-sufficient Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. The ideal candidate should be able to perform all essential ER tasks including phlebotomy, IV insertion, EKG monitoring, splinting, wound care, and transporting patients. This role requires the ability to create a positive experience for patients and their families while meeting operational metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting.
• Perform necessary nursing tasks including, but not limited to, wound care and IV placement.
• Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
• Participate in a team-oriented atmosphere to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in an emergency care setting.
• Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Ability to float to appropriate units as needed, though this is rare.
