We are a high‑end architectural millwork shop devoted to custom cabinetry and architectural woodwork for commercial, institutional, and specialty environments. Every project demands precision, craftsmanship, and pride in achieving flawless, high‑standard finishes.

A Day in the Life

You arrive to a well‑organized finishing area and review finish schedules and shop drawings for the day's runs. You prep components, dial in colors to match approved samples, and move seamlessly from spray booth to inspection table—maintaining consistency whether the job is a one‑off custom piece or part of a production run. You collaborate with shop supervisors, project managers, and quality control to keep quality exacting and timelines on track.

What

You'll Handle
  • Prepare wood components for finishing, including sanding, filling, and sealing prior to final coats
  • Apply stains, dyes, paints, sealers, and topcoats to millwork and cabinetry
  • Match colors and sheens precisely to approved samples and specifications
  • Operate spray equipment and related finishing tools
  • Maintain consistent finish quality across both custom and production work
  • Inspect completed pieces for defects and perform necessary touch‑ups or corrections
  • Follow all safety procedures while keeping the finishing area clean and organized
  • Collaborate closely with shop supervisors, project managers, and quality control personnel
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience in millwork or cabinet finishing
  • Deep knowledge of stains, lacquers, conversion varnishes, water‑based finishes, and urethane
  • Proven ability in color matching and developing custom finishes
  • Ability to read and work from shop drawings and finish schedules
  • Exceptional attention to detail and quality

    Reliable and punctual; comfortable working independently or as part of a team
