Repair and Tool Specialists play a crucial role in evaluating and repairing small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. This position not only makes equipment recommendations but also ensures that all units are kept in optimal condition. Specialists work in stores that feature Tool Rental Centers as well as in dedicated repair centers.

In a store environment, you will directly assist customers with Tool Rental services, which includes:

• Writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rentals and tool repairs.
• Ensuring tools are functioning correctly.
• Demonstrating proper tool usage as needed.

You will also oversee the daily operation and maintenance of equipment in the Tool Rental department. In non-store locations, your responsibilities include:

• Repairing and testing units for quality assurance before returning them to the originating store.
• Maintaining cleanliness of all repaired tools.

To excel in this role, you must possess comprehensive knowledge of various tools and effectively manage tool inventory through regular maintenance and necessary repairs.
