About Children of America (COA)
We are a diverse organization with pride in our people and principles. Our lead teachers are responsible for planning lessons and executing our curriculum. You will work alongside a team of educators in a supportive environment where you can grow in your field and share your passion for early childhood education. Our program serves preschool children 6 weeks to 12 years of age, including Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before and After Care and Summer Camp.
Who would I interact with? In this role, you will interact daily with an Assistant Teacher, children, parents, the management team, and teaching staff.
Requirements- At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare facility, CPR/1st Aid certified, Virginia licensing required trainings

- Maintain a developmentally appropriate curriculum with a gentle approach
- Care for infants and toddlers at different developmental stages

- Plan daily lessons to support social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth
- Communicate professionally with parents and fellow staff

Hourly pay range for this position is $XX.XX to $YY.YY per hour
. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may be eligible for performance-based incentives or other benefits.
