Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a current OH or compact RN license, night shifts, and a strong background in telemetry.

• Position located in a Med/Surg Telemetry hospital unit
• Night shift schedule with 3 twelve-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Telemetry monitoring is a primary responsibility
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Uses Qualivis – Lotus for submitting hours worked
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safe Medicate assessment completed during orientation with required passing scores
• Assignments at any one location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months and a 6-month gap is required before returning
• Travelers are required to work holiday rotations as assigned
• A copy of a valid driver’s license and Social Security card is required
• Assessment and medication competency evaluations will be conducted upon orientation

• Active permanent OH or compact RN license required
• Minimum 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Two professional references required for consideration
