Student Employee - Maintenance

Overview

Provide general maintenance and operational support for campus buildings and facilities. Assist maintenance staff with routine repairs, inspections, and service tasks to help ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained campus environment. Support maintenance supervisors and facilities staff by completing basic maintenance work orders, assisting with preventive maintenance activities, and responding to daily operational needs in a timely and professional manner.

Duties Include:

• Assist with routine building maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, patching, and basic carpentry under supervision.
• Support preventive maintenance activities, including inspections, filter changes, lubrication, and equipment checks.
• Assist with moving furniture, setting up spaces, and supporting building access needs.
• Respond to basic maintenance service requests and help document completed work.

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at the University.
• Majoring in a related field; students studying facilities management, construction, engineering, trades, or related fields are encouraged to apply.

• No prior maintenance experience required; training will be provided.
• Previous experience with tools, manual labor, or facilities work preferred but not required.

• Part time
