Description

The University of Central Missouri is seeking applications for two student workers. Appointment to begin January 2026, in large undergraduate and graduate programs emphasizing occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, and risk management.

• Helping with Safety Olympics Team preparations
• Helping with safety equipment maintenance
• Active participation in student safety meetings.
• Consolidating records
• Assist with front-end requests where needed
• Other duties as assigned

• GPA 3.0 or greater in a safety program. Knowledge of occupational safety and health discipline.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skill.
• Clean Driver's License.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Word‑Processing, Spreadsheet
• Attention to detail
• Communication skills, including oral, written and/or nonverbal
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines
• Maintain confidentiality

• Flexible based on the student's course schedule.

Full‑time staff & 12‑month faculty benefits‑eligible position:
