The McClure Archives and University Museum, the official repository of the University of Central Missouri, seeks a part-time (20 Hours/week) undergraduate student assistant. Preference is given to students in Anthropology or History with museum science training, or those who have at least one year of museum and/or archive experience.

• Assisting the Director in administration through office duties and front desk management
• Inventory and accession of new collections
• Research and writing about exhibition(s) and collections
• Mounting and management of exhibition(s)

• Must be an undergraduate in good standing at UCM with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Preference given to Anthropology and History majors, especially those with formal museum or archive training.
• Preference to those who have had coursework in museum science.

• Excellent candidates will have approximately one year experience working in museums, archives, or historical molinos, whether paid or unpaid.

• Monday-Thursday 8am to 4pm

• 30.25% (staff) and 6% (faculty) defined retirement contribution, paid 100% by the university
