  • Facilitate/plan events/activities/programs for the residents to meet their needs, educate them, and provide community service opportunities.

  • Be available and accessible to the students by spending quality interaction time in the residence hall.
  • Assist students with personal and academic concerns.
  • Respond to and document all emergency situations quickly.
  • Act as a referralег for students.
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • Know all the students in your community.
  • Eat meals in the dining center to interact with residents and serve as 앞으로 positive advocate for dining.
  • Help develop a staff community by supporting and displaying a positive attitude toward all staff.
  • Conduct floor/hall meetings throughout the academic year as needed or requested by your supervisor/University Housing.
  • Build relationships with faculty/staff of the university.
  • Assist students in finding ways to get involved (clubs, organizations, Hall Council, intramurals, etc.).
  • Support the policies and programs of the University of Central Missouri.
Duties
  • Practice open communication with University Housing, students, and staff.
  • Act as a positive representative for the university and University Housing.
  • Know and understand policies and procedures as shared in staff google site, training, staff meetings, and given by supervisor and University Housing.
Typical Qualifications
  • Must have completed at least 24 credit hours prior to placement and have lived in University Housing or group living for at least 2 semesters prior to beginning employment.
  • Maintains a 2.50 grade point average, both cumulative and semester. (Cannot be below 2.5 semester GPA for two out of three consecutive semesters and cannot be on academic probation with the University while working for Housing).

Compensationus
  • Single room, $725 allocation toward a meal plan, hourly employee appointment with hourly wage payment for total $1200/semester.
  • Paid according to HR/Payroll schedule; a break in payment may occur during semester changes.
  • CA position appointed for 12 hr/week student employment.
Working Hours & Days
  • Irregular work hours required living on campus with residents.
Special Instructions

Benefits include competitive salary; health, dental, vision, life insurance, AD & D, long-term disability; 3 weeks paid vacation per year; 3 weeks of accrued sick leave per year; 13 paid holidays; retirement; and generous education assistance. (Details vary for full‑time, 9‑month, part‑time, and temporary positions.)

  • 1. Individual will be vetted for 24+ credit hours, 2.5+ GPA, good standing, and 2 semesters in campus housing.
  • 2. Candidates must complete application, provide references, and attend interview on Saturday February 7, 2026.
  • 3. Applicants answered 15 questions regarding their qualifications, leadership, teamwork, values, and interest in role.
