DescriptionAssist Business Office Accountant with daily accounting, payment request processing of invoices and credit memos, vendor statement reconciliation, correspondence, and other general office duties.
Duties Include- Correspond with customers and vendors, and respond to inquiries from same using effective and proper verbal and written communication skills.
- Create & maintain Excel spreadsheets & Google Documents.
- Match and process invoices and credit memos in an accurate and timely manner and perform vendor statement reconciliation.
- Research & resolve discrepancies & issues with attention to detail.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Accurate & efficient computer data entry.
- Accurate filing and other general office duties.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to follow a task, project or situation through to conclusion.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of 6 or more semester credit hours of accounting courses and a minimum of 30 credit hours towards a degree in accounting or finance.
- Demonstrated mastery of spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation software.
- Monday-Friday, 15-20 hours per week
Full-time staff & 12-month faculty benefits-eligible position:
