Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the car wash facility. This role primarily supports 3rd Shift operations; however, a split 2nd/3rd shift may be scheduled depending on operational needs. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning of the car wash building and surrounding areas, including fueling islands.
• Clean drain grates and wash pit areas thoroughly and safely.
• Pressure wash floors and walls to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Shovel debris and dispose of waste properly by emptying wheelbarrows into dumpster.
• Ensure wash area is cleaned during 3rd shift as requested, or coordinate cleaning during split shift if assigned additional duties.
• Remove trash and debris from interior and exterior areas.
• Follow company safety procedures and proper equipment handling guidelines.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with additional cleaning or facility support tasks as assigned; stocking, ringing register, helping customers, and any other miscellaneous duties assigned by the location manager.

Shift Requirements

• Primarily 3rd shift (overnight)
• Split 2nd/3rd shift may be required based on workload and operational needs.
• Must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous janitorial, maintenance, or retail experience preferred
• strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to operate pressure washers and basic cleaning equipment safely
• Comfortable working in wet environments and varying temperatures
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, and perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, standing, shoveling, and pushing wheelbarrows.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
