Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will independently showcase your organization and time‑management skills while serving as Hallmark’s face in retail stores. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.

Salary and Schedule Details

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00–$15.00 depending on your skills and experience.
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
• This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are between 15–18 hours per week.
• Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products in and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys.
• Holiday support:
  During peak seasonal periods (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas), you may work additional days and extended hours, including holidays themselves.
• Department resets:
  Assist with installations, relocations, and resets of Hallmark fixtures and card sections, typically notified two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration:
  Work as part of a network of merchandisers, supporting fellow team members as needed.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job requiring a high level of energy and urgency. You must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally; kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the workday; and climb stairs and step ladders as required.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Capability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Operates a digital handheld device to open and read documents.
• Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
• Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores as scheduled.
