Journeyman Maintenance Technician

This is a full-time, on-site midnight shift role for a Journeyman Maintenance Technician at Ohio Star Forge Company in Warren, OH. The Journeyman Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the following:

• Performing routine and project maintenance as required.
• Determining the best way to make repairs and minimizing interruption of production.
• Dismantling, cleaning, repairing, installing, maintaining, assembling, and lubricating plant equipment as required.
• Making either temporary or permanent repairs.
• Performing electrical, mechanical, structural, hydraulic, pnumatic repairs.
• Advising when to shut down equipment is necessary to prevent damage.
• Participating in training programs as required.
  
  Keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance
• Experience in Troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues
• Proficiency in performing Maintenance & Repair tasks for industrial machinery
• Knowledge and experience in implementing Preventive Maintenance programs
• Ability to work in a collaborative, on-site team environment
• Technical certification or relevant experience in maintenance or engineering is preferred
• Familiarity with safety protocols and practices in an industrial setting
