Installation & Construction -Site Supervisor

Ajax Tocco Magnethermic (ATM), a subsidiary of Park Ohio, traces its roots back to the 1800s and has a rich history of excellence in induction heating and melting solutions. The present company was formed in 1959 when the Magnethermic Corporation acquired the assets of Ajax Electrothermic Corp. combining their expertise and capabilities.

Primary Duties

• Oversee day-to-day operations of field projects.
• Manage employees and subcontractors.
• Define project scope, purpose, and resource requirements.
• Ensure schedules align with client expectations.
• Conduct open box inspections to verify materials against drawings.
• Assess and manage safety hazards and site security.
• Develop and implement completion strategies and action plans.
• Prepare and file daily reports, photos, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company and government regulations.
• Track contractor/employee attendance and timesheets.
• Motivate teams to deliver high-quality performance.
• Set and monitor project goals through completion.
• Communicate extra work order (EWO) opportunities to Project Manager.
• Mentor employees to support career growth.
• Secure local materials as needed to complete projects.
• Complete daily job site assessments (JSA).
• Maintain daily communication with I&C Project Management.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a scientific field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Management preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical installation/troubleshooting aptitude.
• Familiarity with company products is a plus.

• OSHA-30 Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
• Extensive domestic travel required; occasional international travel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD.
• Ability to read and interpret technical mechanical and electrical documents.
