Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of weekly and monthly project billings.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to identify and account for all project costs.
- Communicate with clients to justify and explain project-related expenses.
- Maintain detailed and well-organized records for all billing and cost-related activities.
- Analyze financial data to ensure compliance with project budgets and cost standards.
- Monitor and evaluate costs associated with ongoing projects to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Provide detailed cost analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
- Utilize expertise in cost accounting principles to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.
- Address discrepancies or issues in billing and propose solutions to resolve them.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards and company policies in all cost accounting activities. Requirements
- Proven experience in cost accounting, preferably in construction or manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of standard cost accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in cost analysis and financial reporting.
- Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external clients.
- Familiarity with project-based billing processes, AIA Billing is a must
- Advanced proficiency in relevant accounting software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
