Water Systems Monitor

The City of Warren is accepting applications for the position of Water Systems Monitor. Oversees and monitors plumbing installations to ensure compliance with the City’s cross connection ordinances and for quality of workmanship.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited high school or G.E.D. equivalent.
o ORIGINAL diploma or official transcripts REQUIRED at time of application.

• Five (5) years of experience in the installation of plumbing systems.

• Possession of a master plumber’s license, as issued by the State of Michigan; or, possession of a Journeyman’s license as issued by the State of Michigan and ten (10) years of experience in plumbing work.

• Possess a State of Michigan approved cross connection control certification.

• Possess a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Michigan. Driving record must meet city’s standards for insurability.

Pay rate: $83,039/year (Flat rate)
