Facilities Maintenance Technician

1st Shift

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building

maintenance tasks. Performance of building maintenance tasks in one or more fields

(e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing,

etc.). Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof. Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.

Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Education or equivalent
• Trade School or Technical Degree Preferred
• 5-10 years working in facilities maintenance
• Possess a journeyman’s card
• Good understanding of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must possess a positive attitude
