Job Title: Machine Builder
Location: Warren, MI
Type: Contract-to-Direct
Schedule: Mon - Fri, Start Time 6:00 AM
OverviewExperienced Mechanical Build professional needed to support the installation and modification of automated mechanical systems. This role provides hands-on support to mechanical builders during installs and startups.
Responsibilities- Support mechanical builders during automation equipment installation
- Assist with daily task coordination and build sequencing
- Support mechanical layout, alignment, and system installation
- Reinforce safety, quality, and build standards on-site
- Support training reinforcement for mechanical build teams
- Identify and escape build issues, delays, or quality concerns
- Collaborate with engineering, electrical, and integration teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to build processes
- 3+ years as a Senior Machine Builder, Machine Builder, Toolmaker
- Strong hands-on mechanical assembly and automation build background
- Experience with automated assembly or manufacturing systems
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Journeyman’s card or technical certification preferred
- Prior lead installer or site support experience a plus
