Responsibilities :
+ Operate all deburring equipment required for the position
+ Achieve the required edge break and/or radius per work instructions
+ Select proper deburring media based on specifications
+ Interpret customer specifications related to visual non-conformances and surface finishes
+ Perform hand drilling and drill press operations
+ Tap holes and complete assembly operations as required
+ Utilize precision measuring equipment, including height gages, micrometers, calipers, radius gages, and thread gages
+ Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications
+ Complete required work order documentation accurately
+ Maintain strong organizational skills and housekeeping standards
+ Follow company quality policies and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements
+ Adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations
+ Complete required compliance training and stay current on policy updates
+ If assigned to Repair Station operations, ensure compliance with FAA Inspection Procedures and applicable FAR regulations
Basic Hiring Criteria :
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Minimum 1 year of metal grinding experience required
+ Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and regulations
+ Strong basic math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages)
+ Ability to write reports and effectively communicate in a professional setting
+ Ability to apply logical problem-solving skills in standardized situations
