Responsibilities
Fleet & Device Operations Specialist – Supports a nationally recognized Consumer and Commercial Electronic R&D client in Warren, MI. Manages end‑to‑end device lifecycle operations, print and device services, and operational case management. Ensures fleet accuracy, efficient ordering, remediation, compliance with security and governance standards, and coordination with internal and external partners.
- Maintain DCC fleet accuracy, ensuring all assets are properly recorded, tracked, and reconciled.
- Manage MACD (Move, Add, Change, Delete) ordering activities to support business needs.
- Process and track Hot Swap orders to minimize user downtime.
- Coordinate device buyouts, including obtaining and managing Company FS quotes.
- Manage and validate device entitlements to ensure contract and service alignment.
- Execute and track MSL adds, moves, and changes, ensuring accurate updates across systems.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions during site, user, or device changes.
- Oversee device configuration management within RMS platforms.
- Manage and coordinate firmware updates across supported devices.
- Enforce print security governance standards and policies.
- Support and maintain custom RMS configurations as required by the business.
- Provide co‑management of NRDs in partnership with the General Manager.
- Own and manage operational case tracking from initiation to closure.
- Handle Break/Fix (B/F) requests and escalations.
- Experience in fleet management, device lifecycle management, or managed print services.
- Familiarity with MACD processes, asset tracking systems, and order management workflows.
- Working knowledge of RMS platforms and device configuration management.
- Experience using JIRA or similar ticketing/order management tools.
- Strong case management and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, internal teams, and leadership.
Pay range: lowest to highest compensation the client expects to offer. The range may be modified in the future and is based on education, qualifications, experience, and location.
