Reliance One, Inc. is working with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an Engineering Manager to lead project execution, support customer programs, and drive continuous improvement across engineering and production operations.

This role will oversee projects from concept through production while leading a high-performing engineering team and partnering cross-functionally with operations, sales, and customers.

• Review project proposals to determine timelines, resource allocation, and execution strategy
• Manage projects from concept through full lifecycle, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Develop project plans, assign responsibilities, and provide direction to engineering staff
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to meet program objectives
• Monitor project progress, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate updates to stakeholders
• Prepare and present project reports to leadership and customers
• Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering and production challenges
• Collaborate with customers to recommend design improvements and cost-saving opportunities
• Support commercial efforts by partnering with sales to deliver technical solutions
• Train, mentor, and develop engineering team members
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and system enhancements
• Lead implementation of best practices across engineering and manufacturing functions
• Champion new technologies, cost reduction efforts, and operational efficiencies
• Contribute to strategic planning, product safety initiatives, and supplier engagement

• Strong knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and testing processes
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work across diverse teams
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface with customers and leadership
• Demonstrated leadership, planning, and organizational capabilities
• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field
• Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
