Overview
We are seeking a qualified CAD Drafter with experience in Revit to develop and design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop design drawings in coordination with Design Engineers for water and wastewater projects.
- Set up drawings according to established CAD standards.
- Coordinate with the CAD requirements of clients.
- Draft mechanical and electrical drawings, including process piping, electrical distribution, and control for water and wastewater projects (70% Electrical design, 30% Mechanical design).
- Perform field validation of the drawings along with the Design Engineer.
Essential Skills
- 3-5 years of experience within an AE firm.
- 2+ years of working experience with Revit (not school experience).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.
- Experience with Micro Station, wastewater design, and wastewater engineering.
- Knowledge in electrical design, mechanical design, and MEP.
The office consists of 21 people located in Warren, operating from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The dress code is business casual. The company culture is like a family, featuring bi-monthly lunches with all employees, potlucks, a 4th of July BBQ, and a Christmas party.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00/hr.
