About the role

CSI is seeking Robotics Engineers to join our growing team. We are seeking candidates with a strong robotics background and exposure to vision systems. This is a long‑term contract opportunity supporting our client in Marion, Indiana.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and plan machine robotic automation solutions, including custom product development when required.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluations, including the set‑up and programming of equipment as well as testing, report writing, and presentation support; assist technical staff at all levels throughout a project (assessment, design, development, and deployment).
  • Assist with the training and mentoring of technical staff.
  • Develop and implement automation applications and solutions using the most current automation hardware and software.
  • Primarily responsible for evaluating, testing, and debugging robotic systems.
  • Provide technical leadership and daily support as it relates to robotics projects.
  • Coordinate details for machine robotic implementation.
  • Manufacture robotics along with electrical design fundamentals.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose any problems with the automation systems.
  • Prepare and present technical reports; provide training and documentation development.
  • Coordinate the design and implementation of robotic applications, collaborating with project managers, engineering teams, and clients to ensure on‑time completion of project deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Comprehensive understanding of robotics and applicable experience within the automotive and manufacturing industries, including vision systems.
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
