Schedule5 weeks - Tuesday and Thursdays, starting the week of March 23rd - May 1st
Work Hours/Pay10 hours of instruction + 5 hours of planning/prep + 1 hour of training = 16 hours @ $40/hour = $640
GoalThe goal of the Before/After School Tutoring Program is to maximize academic potential, strengthen literacy and math achievement, build self-esteem/motivation, and ensure academic success.
Qualifications- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- Highly Qualified Required
- Exemplary experience in teaching elementary literacy and mathematics
- Experience with English Language Learner students preferred
- Facilitate the Before/After School Tutoring Program as designed.
- Administer a pre-assessment, analyze results, begin instruction and modify as necessary.
- Communicate with parents as well as building administrators.
- Take attendance, administer a post-assessment and have parents and students complete a programming survey.
- Complete a program survey. Turn in all materials at the end of the program.
