Key
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education required;
Masters or Doctoral degrees in Special Education preferred. - Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Special Education endorsements is mandatory; substitute licenses are not accepted.
- Experience working with diverse student populations is preferred.
- Proven skills in managing resource room settings and self-contained special education classrooms.
- Ability to implement creative learning programs tailored to individual student needs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with state standards and student abilities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student growth and engagement.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to monitor progress and adapt instruction as needed.
