Salary ranges from:

$90,000 - $110,000/annually

Qualifications:

  • 5 – 10 years’ of purchasing experience
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
  • Negotiation & Communication:
    Strong skills for dealing with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical Abilities:
    Proficiency in monitoring inventory metrics and market trends
  • Experience:

    Typically requires experience in supply chain, logistics, and purchasing
  • Strong knowledge of parts operations, inventory control, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, One Drive) and parts management systems (Trimble/TMT) preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and mentor peers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage obsolete parts inventory, including consolidation, utilization, and disposal.
  • Monitor inventory performance, returns, credits and core banks.
  • Maintain parts data, pricing, and discounts.
  • Serve as liaison between Central Transport and OEM/Aftermarket partners.
  • Provide training and support to two Parts Coordinators employees.
  • Organize, support, and reconcile the annual company-wide parts inventory.
  • Travel to shop locations as needed.
  • Negotiate vendor parts pricing, minimizing costs, ensuring timely delivery to avoid equipment downtime, and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Managing stock levels, forecasting needs, and reducing carrying costs while ensuring availability.
  • Drive supplier relationship management — negotiate parts pricing bids, evaluate performance, and identify strategic partnerships to optimize cost and quality.
