Position: Accounting Manager / Full Charge Bookkeeper

$75,000–$90,000 base + year-end bonus

Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Open to Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire (preferred)

About the Company

We are partnering with growing machinery company seeking an Accounting Manager/ Full Charge Bookkeeper to join the team

Why This Role

This is a hands-on, visible accounting leadership role for someone who enjoys owning the books, improving systems, and being part of a collaborative, fast-moving office. This is a key position that will work closely with leadership and an external CPA firm.

What You’ll Do

Accounting Operations

  • Own day-to-day accounting activities, including GL, reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Oversee AR/AP and billing (with support from an AP/Billing specialist)
  • Maintain accurate inventory, equipment, and fixed asset records

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Help optimize and streamline Net Suite (or similar ERP) processes
  • Support the transition to paperless workflows (scanning, importing/exporting, documentation)
  • Identify opportunities to improve controls, efficiency, and reporting

Reporting & Oversight

  • Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and cash-flow visibility
  • Coordinate with an external CPA firm for quarterly reviews and year-end close
  • Manage 1 direct report in accounting
  • Serve as a visible presence in the front office—interacting with drivers, customers, and internal teams and answering incoming calls
  • Communicate clearly across departments in an open, collaborative workspace

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • 5+ years of hands-on relatable experience
  • Prior experience as an Accounting Manager, Full-Charge Bookkeeper, or small-company Controller
  • Experience with Net Suite or another ERP and a strong interest in process improvement
  • Inventory and fixed asset accounting experience
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the accounting function
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Manufacturing, industrial, or machinery industry background
  • Equipment sales, rentals, or project-based accounting experience
