Primary purpose of the position: To accomplish the operation, overhaul, and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Facility and all equipment used in conjunction with the Wastewater Treatment operation.
Requirements- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain a Security clearance
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of wastewater treatment.
- Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and/or test equipment common to the trade.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.
- Ability to plan and organize work assigned to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance. A valid state driver's license is required.
- Must have current State of Georgia Certificate for wastewater treatment (at least Class III).
