Provide customer service to hospital staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior areas, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or irregular conditions;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to appropriate hospital contacts and/or emergency services;
Monitor access points and assist with visitor management by observing for authorized entry, providing directions, and reporting policy violations to site leadership;
Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information during shift turnovers
