Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T1380) s role focuses on delivering a welcoming guest experience, assisting with checkout, store services, and promoting Target's offerings.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks
• Engage with guests to solve their needs and resolve concerns
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities, events, and Target loyalty programs; assist with sign-up as needed
• Know and explain tools, products, and services available in the total store
• Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately, in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features (Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering) and help guests enroll or use these features
• Assist with returns following policy and escalate to leadership when needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during open hours
• Operate in a safe, compliant manner and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup, Drive Up, and related duties with adherence to laws and policies
• Perform other duties based on business needs

• Flexible work schedule; reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile during a shift; exposure to varying temperatures and environments
• Compliant with safety policies and training
