Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a GA or compact license and 18 months of ICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based 4W ICU unit
- Adult critical care patient population
- 12-hour night shifts
- 13-week contract assignment
- No on-call responsibilities
- No floating requirement mentioned
- Adhere to strict RTO limits: maximum of 5 days if time off does not fall near a holiday, and 3 days if it does
- Only one holiday time-off request is permitted during the assignment
- Multiple requested days off during the holidays will not be approved
- Previous Emory or Houston system staff must observe mandatory separation periods before being considered
- Not open to local staff or returns who do not meet the separation timeline
- Active Georgia or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum of 18 months recent ICU experience required
- Former staff must have left the health system for at least 1 year, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
- No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility
