Aqua Sana Forest Spa is an award-winning spa offering a combination of experiences, products and treatments. Each spa is uniquely designed and has up to 25 experience rooms. Treatments are carried out by expert therapists using premium products from Elemis, Comfort Zone and VOYA.
ROLE OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Aqua Sana Forest Spa Operations Manager, the Assistant Spa Manager - Service will help ensure the smooth running of the department, delivering excellent guest service and maintaining high standards in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train and manage the front-of-house team to provide outstanding spa experiences.
- Oversee day-to-day front-of-house operations and maintain consistent high service levels for guests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to uphold service standards and monitor guest experience metrics.
- Manage retail operations including stock control, promotions and staff training to meet sales targets.
Contracted to work 80 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Working hours may include public/bank holidays and rota coverage during Christmas and New Year.
Essential Requirements- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a similar role or within the beauty industry.
- Experience in a customer-service environment.
- Experience in financial controls and people management.
- Previous retail management experience.
- Friendly and genuine towards guests and colleagues.
- Ability to prioritise and organise daily tasks.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with spa / leisure booking systems.
