We are searching for a talented General Maintenance Worker

Hours: 40hrs

Shift: Evening shift, 3:00pm - 11:30pm with on call rotation (weeknights, weekends and holiday)

Tobey Hospital - Wareham, MA

Under the general supervision and direction of the Manager, Facilities or designee, perform daily routine maintenance of the boilers and power plant. Perform routine inspections on electrical, medical air and oxygen outlets as needed. Perform inspections and repairs to medical equipment, rolling stock, beds, etc. Perform limited inspections and repairs to bio‑med equipment. Perform carpentry /painting projects as directed.

• Technical or Trade School education preferred.
• General knowledge of carpentry, electricity, plumbing, painting and tools.
• Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation:
Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

USD $17.04 - USD $29.51 /Hr.
