We are searching for a talented HUC‑Nursing Assistant 7B.

Hours: 24 hours per week.

Shift: Evening shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation; 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm.

Location: Tobey Hospital – Wareham, MA.

You’ll receive a $900 new hire sign‑on bonus (rehire eligible after 1 year).

Responsibilities

Under general supervision of the Manager of Patient Care or designee, perform a variety of office, secretarial and other related duties both within and in support of assigned unit as well as a variety of patient care duties including basic care, personal hygiene, mobility, nutritional support and maintaining patient environment. Coordinate services to ensure completion of daily activities of individual nursing unit.

Plan, organize, and direct all unit patient‑focused support activities, including but not limited to coordinating ancillary patient/unit services and requests for equipment and supplies. Assist the Manager of Patient Care with patient care and other related duties as directed.

Qualifications
  • High school graduation plus additional specialized courses or training.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
  • Computer skills including knowledge of the computer system and related secretarial experience preferred.
  • At least three months of related work experience required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Fully vaccinated against influenza and COVID‑19 or a valid medical exemption.
Compensation

USD $19.28 – $25.94 per hour. Pay rate determined based on experience.

Rotation Schedule Requirement

Every other weekend and every other holiday.
