Senior Software Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Software Engineer with a background in Java and the UK Defence Industry to work on the development of autonomous systems with an innovative specialist in Maritime Safety and Security.

These positions would suit Software Engineers with experience in either User Interface Design (in Java FX) or experience working on unmanned systems.

Generally, the working rhythm will be based on 3 days per week on site but there may be some instances where this will increase when working on either hardware or projects with a higher security classification.

Hands on Software experience with Java will be essential for this role alongside experience of working within the UK Defence / Maritime space.

Full engineering lifecycle experience will also be essential alongside knowledge of processes and best practices and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
