We are looking for an experienced and confident High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support children and young people aged 4-16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.45am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be joining a highly regarded specialist education setting set in a calm and supportive environment. The school is recognised for:

Pupils present with a range of SEMH needs, including:
Emotional regulation and anxiety difficulties, Behavioural challenges linked to trauma or adverse experiences, Low self-esteem and disengagement from learning and Additional needs such as ADHD or communication difficulties
Deliver targeted interventions and learning support
Support classroom management and lead small groups
Assist pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff
Minimum 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs
Experience with SEMH or behavioural needs is highly desirable
A calm, resilient and proactive approach
Strong communication and leadership skills
Competitive weekly pay - £13.75 per hour
