POSITION TITLE: Stacker Operator

LOCATION: Wapak Corrugator, 402 Leon Pratt Dr., Wapakoneta, OH 45895

STARTING PAY: $18.43/hour + $0.40 shift differential. Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance. At Pratt, the potential for growth is limitless—this is not just a job, it s a career!

• Communicate issues or necessary adjustments to the appropriate personnel quickly and clearly.
• Assist the Corrugator crew as directed by the supervisor to ensure smooth operations.
• Proactively maintain equipment and submit maintenance work orders for any repairs needed.
• Adhere to the production schedule, making recommendations to improve cost, quality, and service goals. Report any scheduling issues to the supervisor.
• Learn to operate backup equipment such as the Slitter Operator and Double backer when required.
• Place protective sheets and tie sheets where necessary.
• Accurately count and verify unit and inch counts.
• Ensure all units are properly tagged.
• Operate corrugator conveyor lines and unitizers efficiently.
• Understand and read corrugator lineups.
• Perform tasks like restacking, flipping stacks, and hand banding units as required.
• Assist in the training of dry-end personnel.
• Comply with company safety policies and maintain a clean workspace.
• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED

  Ability to read and follow factory masters and instructions.
• Mathematical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficient in reading a tape measure with accuracy. Ability to perform calculations involving percentages, measurements, volume, and rates.
• Reasoning

  Ability to carry out instructions given in written, oral, or graphic form. Capable of solving problems with clear variables in standardized situations.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Working knowledge of equipment design, product layouts, and production specifications. Ability to meet quality standards.

• May be required to maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, or hear.
• Frequently required to use hands for tasks like handling or feeling objects, and reaching with arms.
• Must occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs and, on rare occasions, up to 100 lbs.
• Vision requirements include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

• Exposed to moving mechanical parts and wet/humid conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes, airborne particles, and vibrations.
• The noise level in the environment is typically loud.
