Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues with CNC and Water Jet equipment. You will also play a key role in providing top‑tier technical support to customers while maintaining high‑quality standards. Travel is required for this position.

• Responsible for the installation and setup of CNC machines
• Work directly with our customers to repair, program, and troubleshoot their control systems, specifically Delta Tau, Fanuc and Siemens
• Calibrate, program, and troubleshoot machine controls
• Work closely with manufacturing and engineering to get machines up and running to capacity
• Communicate with managers to inform of situations that may impact production
• Compile records of equipment and machinery information used on customer site
• Assist in maintaining and monitoring inventory of spare parts for all machines to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance as needed
• Work on all pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic components on CNC machinery
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other business programs

• Successful completion of a certification program at a Junior College or equivalent formal training in a related field.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Strong electrical and hydraulic experience - Pneumatic experience is a plus
• Programming Logic Controllers (PLC), preferably Delta Tau, Fanuc, and Siemens is a plus
• Experience with Renishaw laser scanner and ballbar system is preferred.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job
• Must be able to travel 80 - 90% of the time
