Warehouse Operative

You will be joining a small, supportive team that prides itself on flexibility and responsiveness to customer needs. While standard warehouse duties form a core part of the role, the ability to adapt and assist with basic technical tasks is highly desirable. A clean driving licence is essential, and a forklift licence would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking and booking in stock accurately
• Warehouse replenishment
• Picking, packing, and booking stock out
• Conducting regular stock takes
• Supporting Health & Safety compliance and risk assessments where required
• Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and filed or archived correctly
• Assisting other departments with warehouse-related queries and requests
• Liaising with couriers to ensure items are tracked, shipped, or collected promptly when required
• Working effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Handling manual lifting, including some heavy goods

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is essential
• Strong knowledge and understanding of warehouse procedures
• Forklift truck experience is advantageous
• Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional longer hours as required
• Willingness to travel when necessary
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety requirements
