Position: Personal Tax Semi Senior (Part Time)
Location: East Challow

Oxfordshire area 2 days per week

A well-established and friendly accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Personal Tax Consultant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a qualified tax professional who enjoys client interaction and wants to be part of a supportive, down-to-earth team.

You’ll be working autonomously, handling a portfolio of personal tax clients, and using your knowledge to provide expert advice and accurate tax return preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage approximately 160 personal tax returns annually

Respond to client tax queries clearly and professionally

Provide proactive tax planning advice

Maintain a high level of accuracy and compliance in all work

Liaise directly with clients and build trusted working relationships

What We're Looking For:

ATT qualified (or equivalent), or former HMRC background in personal tax

Strong experience within a UK accountancy practice

Excellent knowledge of UK personal tax legislation

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload

Desirable Extras:

Experience with CGT computations and trust returns

Exposure to both personal and corporate tax

Familiarity with systems such as IRIS, Quick Books, Xero, and Sage
