We are seeking a Pastoral and Behaviour Lead to champion pupil wellbeing and positive behaviour across our school. This is a key leadership role focused on creating a safe, supportive environment where every pupil can thrive.

You will lead on Positive Behaviour Support, inclusive communication strategies, and building capable environments. Working closely with staff, you will help them understand the functions of behaviour and implement effective interventions. Your work will help pupils build resilience, develop positive relationships, and achieve their full potential.

About the Role
  • Lead on Positive Behaviour Support and inclusive communication strategies

    Develop positive behaviours for learning across the school

    Coach and guide staff on behaviour strategies and interventions

    Deliver targeted pastoral and behaviour support for pupils

    Collaborate with families and external agencies for holistic support

    Oversee behaviour tracking systems and analyse trends to inform strategy Who We're Looking For
    • Experience in SEN settings and behaviour management
    • Skilled in de‑escalation and positive behaviour strategies
    • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
    • Ability to mentor staff and lead training sessions
    • Knowledge of safeguarding, mental health and trauma‑informed care
    • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English;
      Team Teach qualification
    • Experience with systems like CPOMs, Arbor and Smartlog (desirable)
